A Plurality is enough

Note: This was written when Sanders was the one most likely to get a plurality of votes/delegates. I decided not to change a thing. I still believe all the arguments set out in this piece, even if they now benefit Joe Biden

Democrats appear to be approaching a brokered convention where no single candidate gets the the required number of delegates in order to secure the nomination on the first ballot. We do not know who will have the most votes or delegates, but smart observers have looked at a variety of scenarios and concluded that person is most likely to be Senator Bernie Sanders.
