Why Iran Despises the US

Iran and the US have been at odds for a long time. Starting in the late 1970’s most American’s knowledge of Iran was of it’s role as adversary to the United States. After 9/11 and the War in Iraq, Iran was quickly regarded as the central greatest danger on the world stage. Iran’s pursuit of a nuclear program was the main concern of global diplomacy starting in the Bush administration.
